BOE Votes On Budgets For Next 30 Years To Save Time

May 1, 2012

In a stroke of brilliance, our esteemed Board of Ed has taken advantage of a change in state law that allows their budget to not bother residents by having them vote on it. But the Board of Ed was nice enough to make it so if it does go over a 2% increase, they’ll let us tell them how we feel but, in a stroke of genius, they’ll only bother us with the amount over that 2%. That way residents don’t have to worry about any more money than they have to.

To add icing on the cake, the Board of Ed has gone ahead and voted on the school budget for the next 30 years so it’ll always be at the 2% increase mark. Thanks to all board members. Your kind thoughts and foresight are appreciated. Good thing we won’t have to worry about naysayers voting down our, I mean our kids’, money.
